Launched in June 2009 , Canon EOS 500D is a 15.0MP Entry-Level DSLR camera with a APS-C (22.3 x 14.9 mm ) sized CMOS sensor and Canon EF/EF-S lens mount. 500D is also sold as EOS Rebel T1i / EOS Kiss X3 in some countries. Canon replaced the older Canon 450D with this model and later 500D was replaced with Canon 550D.
